Panelists Nicholas Eberstadt, Henry Wendt Chair in Political Economy at the American Enterprise Institute and author of Men Without Work: America’s Invisible Crisis, Jason Furman, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics and former Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers (2013-2017), joined moderator Lawrence H. Summers, Charles W. Eliot University Professor of Harvard University and Co-Director of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School, for a panel discussion to reflect on employment crisis amongst “prime-age” men twenty-five to fifty-four.
